About Dr. Rouhani

Dr. Rouhani received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1987 and received her M.D. from Spartan Health Sciences University in 1992. She completed her residency in psychiatry at Beth Israel Medical Center, Albert Einstein Medical College in New York City in 1997. She completed Geriatric Psychiatric Fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center in 1998. Dr. Rouhani pursued her interests in psychosomatic medicine and psychiatric aspects of cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She served as Chief Fellow as well as attending psychiatrist in Psycho-Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She has published articles related to pain, depression and psychiatric aspects of cancer. She is currently an assistant professor at Michigan State University. She came to Battle Creek in 2000. She is a member of American Medical Association and American Psychiatric Association. She is a Past President of Calhoun County Medical Society and currently serves as Legislative Liaison for Calhoun County Medical Society. Dr. Rouhani is a Board Certified Psychiatrist, Diplomat American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

About Dr. Saifollahi

Dr. Saifollahi, Psychiatrist in Grand Rapids, Michigan received his Bachelors of Science from Oklahoma State University in 1986 and his Medical Diploma from Spartan Health Sciences University in 1993. He completed his Postgraduate training in Psychiatry at Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies, Michigan State University. Dr. Saifollahi completed a Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York City. He has published several articles and chapters on topics of depression, pain and psychiatric aspects of cancer. His expertise is focused on psycho-pharmacology, psychosomatic medicine and older adults. His primary interest is to provide psychiatric management in an acute care setting for persons in crisis. He is a member of American Medical Society, American Psychiatric Association and he is the Past-Chair of Psychiatric Department at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.
